It’s happening! I am so excited to report that I have new friends, a new hot spot, a new favorite dog-friendly restaurant that I am giving it four paws up for dog-friendly and fun! I hope that I get an amazing treat for this because it is cutting into my nap time. A good treat, a fresh off the grill kind of treat! To be clear, it’s not like I spend a lot of time in a kennel. I admit that, as of late, I have been running the streets occasionally like a wild banshee! I’m usually very trustworthy and stay very close to home because I’m super shy. But on occasion when I see my neighborhood dog friends, Bella and Mango, I have to go say “hello” the way that dogs do! I can’t be rude. And when I see my family putting on their shoes, I know it’s game on. I have to secure my spot in the back seat of the car by camping out at the back door, especially if it’s a dog-friendly restaurant! That means free people treats! You may ask what has my tail wagging with excitement today?
Making New Friends
Intracoastal Brewing Company in Melbourne, near the arts district in Eau Gallie, did not disappoint with their laid back and dog-friendly restaurant-style brewery, outdoor beer garden, and sharing tables! While my family enjoyed drinking a wide variety of tap beer that is brewed on location, munching on fresh ceviche, and listening to all of the other humans brag about how cute their dogs are – which is one my favorite part of the day. I was basking in the attention, chillin’ like a villain, and making new friends! I even had a selfie with the Intracoastal Brewery staff who said that I was a mini-me of his own pup! New friends, fresh air, hanging with my family, win! win! for Mae! (FYI – No dogs were hurt, drunk, abused or given alcohol during the afternoon at the brewery.
