Sometimes the view is everything! Sometimes it’s just the icing on the cake to a great waterfront dining experience. Melbourne’s newest edition has boat access, multiple dining and bar options with a fun and fresh menu. The sunsets and views are part of the charm that accompanies this super fresh sushi, handcrafted cocktails, and more location. We have been a few times with friends to Frigates Waterfront Bar and Grill. I can honestly say it fits the bill for relaxing on a weekend afternoon. Frigates is crazy great news for boaters! We gave it a whirl this weekend on the boat and it was super easy to pull up and park. The water is deep and the dock is super accessible. So, what’s good to eat you ask? Oh, where do I begin? There are so many great options!
I already have a new favorite cocktail. Nola’s Spa Gin Water is like a summer vacation in a tall glass. It’s a perfectly refreshing combo of Nola’s Silver Gin, Elderflower Liquor, muddled basil and cucumber, fresh lime with a splash of club soda. The sushi and oysters at Frigates are incredibly fresh. So, I am super picky about oysters. I love them, but not a big fan of our own warm water Florida oysters. Frigates Canadian oysters were cold and perfect with a little fresh horseradish. We are good to go. So much so that we have tried them a few times. For dessert, we shared a plate of Zeppoles which are Italian Cheese Donuts. They are served warm and will make your eyeballs roll back into your head! Guaranteed. Waterfront dining in Brevard is what it’s all about on a beautiful day.
